Yamaha XT500... 
                          ... Supermoto!

The concept was great, the execution should have been quick, the bike was designed to be a fun city tool...


Anyone who cant get their head round a cool XT500 Supermoto needs to read on I think... these are simple, long lived and above all fun bikes. But they also have a huge cult following so any upgrades and rework needs to be done properly or the XT police will be on your back!


Anyone who knows the XT will enjoy this story, it has the hallmarks of a good build; Builder who underestimates the time it will take, plenty of new parts, slow and annoying suppliers and issues with parts, old and new...
